Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website at https://eaglegaragedoorservices.com, contacting us by phone or email, or using any garage door repair, installation, or maintenance services provided by Eagle Garage Door Services("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.

Services Description

Eagle Garage Door Services provides residential and commercial garage door services including but not limited to: garage door repair, spring replacement, opener repair and installation, new garage door installation, emergency garage door repair, and preventive maintenance. All services are performed by licensed and insured technicians in the State of Maryland.

Estimates and Pricing

  • All prices listed on our website are starting estimates and may vary based on the specific condition of your garage door, door type, size, parts required, and labor involved.
  • A detailed, written estimate will be provided before any work begins. No work will be performed without your express authorization.
  • Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date provided unless otherwise stated.
  • Additional work discovered during repair that was not included in the original estimate will be communicated to you for approval before proceeding.
  • Emergency service calls may be subject to different pricing. Emergency pricing will be communicated prior to dispatch or upon arrival.

Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, credit cards, and checks. For larger installation projects, payment terms will be outlined in the written estimate or contract.

If payment is not received when due, we reserve the right to charge interest at the rate of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance and to recover reasonable collection costs.

Warranty

  • All repair work performed by Eagle Garage Door Services is backed by a 90-day labor warranty from the date of service.
  • New parts installed carry the manufacturer's warranty, which varies by product. Our technicians will provide specific warranty information for parts used in your repair or installation.
  • New garage door installations include the manufacturer's product warranty plus our installation labor warranty.
  • Warranty claims must be reported by calling (888) 831-4676. Warranty service will be scheduled at a mutually convenient time.
  • Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, unauthorized modifications, natural disasters, or normal wear and tear.

Customer Responsibilities

By using our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about the location and condition of your garage door
  • Ensure safe and reasonable access to the work area for our technicians
  • Clear the area around the garage door of vehicles, personal property, and obstructions before scheduled service
  • Inform us of any known hazards, pets, or special access requirements at the service location
  • Be present or designate an authorized representative during service (unless otherwise arranged)

Cancellation and Rescheduling

We understand plans change. We ask that you provide at least 4 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a service appointment. Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in a cancellation fee for future appointments. Emergency service appointments cannot be cancelled after a technician has been dispatched.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Maryland law, Eagle Garage Door Services shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to our services. Our total liability for any claim related to our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions of your garage door, garage structure, or surrounding property that are not caused by our work. Any pre-existing damage will be noted and documented before work begins.

Licensing and Insurance

Eagle Garage Door Servicesis fully licensed and insured to perform garage door services in the State of Maryland. We carry general liability insurance and workers' compensation insurance. Proof of insurance is available upon request.

  • All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and designs, is the property of Eagle Garage Door Services and is protected by copyright law.
  • You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our website content without written permission.
  • Information on our website is provided for general informational purposes and does not constitute a binding offer or contract.
  • We strive to keep website information accurate and current but do not guarantee that all information is complete or error-free at all times.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms of Service or our services shall be governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. We encourage customers to contact us directly to resolve any concerns before pursuing formal action. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Prince George's County, Maryland, in accordance with Maryland law.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
